Habachy Design
As an apprentice with a prominent Atlanta designer, I helped with the visualization of newly designed spaces as well as developed color stories. -
Zen Bedroom Collection
A solid hardwood-crafted bedroom set made with Maria Yee’s traditional joinery techniques. This collection was developed by myself and a fellow intern, to go along with the Zen bed which Maria Yee had previously produced. The hardware is minimal and modern, made of powder coated steel. As an intern I designed this collection and worked with our manufacturing team in China to put the design into production. It was distributed to Crate and Barrel for nationwide sales. -
Dorm Chair Design
A two-part ready to assemble dorm chair that I designed and fabricated. The concept for the chair was a pile of dirty laundry in the corner or my dorm room mixed with the bustling of couture gowns. It is a cross between organized chaos, and random bustling, yet is perfectly orchestrated into a beautiful textural surface treatment. The four legs come unscrewed and the cloth is a slip cover. I fabricated the chair by bending steel tube to create the frame on a diacro bender.I machined and braised the joints. -
End Table Design
A side table that I designed and fabricated. This table was handcrafted in walnut with maple inlay and framing. This table is all about contrast and complex angles. I constructed the legs to be right triangles that pierce through the maple frame that has a press fit top surface with maple inlay.
